Hello, it seems this wiki currently has no active admins. I'm a fan of Ghibli films especially Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind. I would like to offer my service to the wiki by adopting this site. If anyone has any objections or comments please voice it here.
Hello, I'm planning to adopt this community since the admins are
mostly inactive nowadays. I'm also a admin on the Ghibli Wiki and
have experience managing other wikis. If you have any opinion on
this feel free to comment on this post. - Naikiw (talk)

- On a second thought, I don't think I can focus on this wiki at the moment, I hereby withdraw from the adoption process. - Naikiw (talk) 10:49, November 2, 2018 (UTC)
So I'm up to page 458 on the Deluxe Edition Volume 1. I've added a bunch of new things over the past couple of months and plan on adding more.
If you've got a copy of the DE1 and 2, feel free to join in.

So I've added details up to DE1 pg 422, with the final appearance of the Dorok Orphans in the story. There are roughly 126 pages left in this first volume and there is still more to add.
I know that I've missed details over the last 422 pages so if you find something that is missing, add in that detail!

I've spent the last 8 months, off and on, reading through the Deluxe Edition Volume 1 for significant events, appearances of characters and equipment, and recording the page numbers when it happened, either for the first time or other considerations.
I'm up to pg 352, which is almost a third of the way through (1104 pages total). I welcome anyone else who wants to add more page number content and continues from pg 352 (or collects info that I missed prior to 352).
We've been lucky that more folks have joined in improving this wiki, so thanks to DorûAreaba, Panda-Nin, Fandyllic and many anonymous users.
With continued support, this wiki can truly become a valuable resource for fans of this excellent manga.
Deletion shouldn't be overused. For obvious reasons. I have deleted 25 pages in the last month and will likely delete more in the next. We might even sink under 200 pages. Why do I do this? Because instead of quantity, we want quality. No one is ever going to look up Kushana's pistol, but when they read an interesting article about Kushana, they will be interested to see what kind of pistol she has. What I am doing is merging pages into larger, higher-quality pages and those that aren't being merged, likely don't have a lot of content. Our "Short pages" list was full of pages that basically are nothing more than a title.
Thanks for the support!
Everyone has different quality standards, but I will try to get most of the articles here to adhere to a certain standard I see fit. I will describe this standard and why I believe it is good.
- 1 Infoboxes, Images
- 2 References, Links
- 3 Categories
- 4 Names and Number of Articles
A lot of articles don't look very appealing. They have content and links, but the images that make articles appealing are missing. Another great feature for this is Infoboxes. I will try to update the Infobox templates, though I am not very good at working with templates. I will try to create infoboxes for characters, events and various other categories and then integrate them into the articles. Please use them! CommunityCentral should have some help pages on how to use them.
