The "Torumekian Duelist" was an Imperial Guardsman [1] who dueled with Nausicaä when Kushana briefly invaded the Valley of the Wind in pursuit of the Control Stone was a huge man armed with a battleaxe and shield. Nausicaä succeeded in killing him before Yupa intervened and stopped the duel.
He was last seen lying on a funeral bier in the Torumekian Armored Corvette [2], honored by his comrades.
